Holstee is a Brooklyn-based company whose original aim was to sell responsibly sourced apparel, but their most popular item by far is the Holstee company manifesto. The Washington Post went so far as to compare the fifteen-sentence motivational piece to Nike’s iconic ‘Just Do It,’ mantra. Also from The Post: “At one point this summer, they sold out of it with a four-week back-order. The manifesto has been translated into 12 languages, and by Holstee’s own approximations, it’s been viewed more than 50 million times.”
Check it out. Be inspired, but also be warned. This manifesto may inspire risk taking, and personal growth.
It’s available on a greeting card and as a wall poster at the Holstee shop.
